http://dan0oo.com/mboard/index.php?topic=6722.0
Today - with teh roof finished - cleared some rubbsh out of teh garage and took it to teh dump.
I'm thinking of joining Ebay to sell some of my old books and small press mags from teh past decades. Any advice?

1/4. what teh ...? Written by thogatthog - Friday, March 16 2007 | I've never been able to understand the modish use of "teh" in place of "the". Do you have any clue as to why it's been adopted, Des? |
2/4. teh Written by des - Saturday, March 17 2007 | TEH is what one automatically types if not paying full attention to teh keyboard ... I guess. |
3/4. teh Written by thogatthog - Monday, March 19 2007 | I don't think that's a viable hypothesis, Des. As one of the first words we learn to type and probably the one we most frequently type, "the" is one of the few words we type without thinking of the keystrokes - almost as if it were a single character. To type "teh" involves a conscious effort - indeed, a conscious effort not to accidentally type "the" instead! |
4/4. teh Written by des - Wednesday, March 21 2007 | I disagree with that, Paul. 90% of the time when I'm typing quickly I accidentally mistype The as Teh! |
