CWG Press: a small publisher with big ideas

Our mission is to promote excellence and freedom. Our selection of books is based solely on quality, not on mass-market appeal or the authors’ points of view. Our aim is to provide an opportunity for important and diverse ideas to compete in the public forum.

There have been reports of problems viewing this site with Internet Explorer. It works with Firefox and Opera, and my other site based on Joomla! software does not exhibit the same problems. I'll get to it when I can but this is not my most active project at the moment.

Thanks, Paul.  Much appreciated.

The funeral was yesterday and thankfully went well in its own terms.

3/4. A quiet announcement
Written by cwg - Wednesday, July 11 2007

Des,

I'm sorry I didn't get around to reading your blog in a somewhat more timely fashion. Be that as it may, I am very sorry to hear that the inevitable event came and went. It's never easy, whether or not it's anticipated.
You probably are feeling a certain amount of relief. That's normal, but that's probably causing you to feel a bit of guilt. That's normal too. You'll be on an emotional roller coaster for a while. Go with it. Deal with it. You'll be all right.
I wish you all the best. For your dad, safe passage.
